We’re working to update our KiwiSaver calculator to include the changes to KiwiSaver announced in Budget 2025.

To be eligible for a first home withdrawal, you must have been saving with KiwiSaver (or another complying superannuation fund) for at least three years.

The first home withdrawal process can take up to 1 month to complete, and sometimes longer. If you are planning to purchase within this timeframe please ensure you begin the process as soon as possible.

Please note that funds transferred from an Australian superannuation fund are not eligible to be withdrawn for a first home purchase.
